Driver Education Course at EC Mike Pro Driving School

At EC Mike Pro Driving School (ecmikepro.ca), our Driver Education Course is designed to teach you how to adopt safe driving behaviors, confidently handle a passenger vehicle, and navigate the road network in an independent, cooperative, and responsible manner.

Course Overview

The course includes a total of 39 hours of instruction:

• 24 hours of theoretical lessons: Divided into 12 modules (2 hours per module), covering all aspects of road safety, traffic laws, and responsible driving.
• 15 hours of practical, in-car training: Conducted in 55-minute sessions with a certified instructor, focusing on real-world driving scenarios and safe maneuvering.

You can register for the course before turning 16 to begin the theoretical component.

Course Structure

Theoretical Component

Classes are taught by an experienced instructor, either in-person or online. To maximize your learning, it is recommended to review the course material independently and complete practice exercises associated with each module.

Practical Component

The in-car training consists of 15 driving sessions, each lasting approximately 55 minutes. During these sessions, you’ll:

• Discuss key maneuvers and driving behaviors before hitting the road.
• Receive constructive feedback on your strengths and areas for improvement.
• Plan and implement strategies for success in your next driving lessons.
